Fraternal Greeting
Brethren,
April brings a lot of activity for the Lodge and I hope you
will be able to join us.
On April 9th, we'll have our regular monthly communication
with no Degree work but we will be having a Fraternal Visit from Right
Worshipful Stanley Gaw, DDGM of the 7th District. For his visit, Brother Jon
Schulhaus and I will be exemplifying our speeches from the Second Section of
First Degree. We'll also be reviewing the reports from the Investigating
Committee to vote on at least three applications from Worthy Fellows.
Later in the month we have two really fun events that I hope
you will consider attending. Both are on April 28th and will comprise a full
day of Fun with your Brothers. The first
will be the F1 Race for the Hiram Cup. Saint Albans will be fielding three cars
driven by Brother Paul Izzo, Brother Will Ricci and Brother Ethan Irving. This
will be an afternoon race in Braintree and should be a blast to attend. The
proceeds will be going to the Rainbow Girls and even the Grand Master himself
will be attending to award the Trophy.
The second event will be a concert/dance event for dinner at Geno's in
Mansfield. The event is being hosted by Brother Bob Churchill and will benefit
the Angel Fund. This is the second year for this event and it got great reviews
last year.
April 30th will see your Officers doing their annual
exemplification of the First Degree before the Grand Lecturer, our very own RW
Gene Nichols. Time to show our stuff!
I hope to see you on the Ninth and, as always, please don't
forget to bring something for the food pantry.
Worshipful Tom
